Quicktime installs a very annoying process when you install it on Windows XP called qttask.exe that you may often see running in your taskbar and processlist. There is no way to stop it running from within quicktime's preferences. Instead, you must:
1. Go to 'Start' -> 'Run' ( 시작 -> 실행 클릭 )
2. Type 'regedit' and click 'OK' (rededit 입력후 확인 클릭)
3. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Apple Computer, Inc.\QuickTime\ActiveX (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Apple Computer, Inc.\QuickTime\ActiveX 경로 여기로 찾아가기)
4.Find the value QTTaskRunFlags, right click on it and change the value to 0 (QTTaskRunFlags 파일의 오른쪽 클릭하고 설정누르고 값을 0으로 바꿔줍니다)

Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run (앞에 경로로 찾아갑니다)
2.
Delete the value pointing to qttask.exe (qttask.exe를 지워줍니다)
That should stop it running automatically when you start windows or when you open Quicktime.
